The Last Post

After much deliberation I have decided to temporarily suspend my blog and focus  more on my Facebook pages.

I think Facebook offers an opportunity for more interactive posts and real time information.

I hope you will follow me at Frayed Round the Edges and 02 Textiles, the links are below

Cigar boxes

I was given some cigar boxes to work a little collage magic onto. Although they were fiddly I really enjoyed covering and lining them.

Blue Bird

For Christmas I has a 3d pen as a present. It works in a similar way to a glue gun but easier to control. It uses the same filament as a 3d printer.

Here is my first 3d model

I am hoping I will be able to use the filament in conjunction with my textile work at a later date.

I loved the colour combination of this variegated yarn so I had to buy it. This is a jacket I made for my Great Niece to brighten a winters day.

A pretty red tunic

A pretty red jumper which was knitted in the round with 4 ply yarn. This one was a bit of a struggle as I prefer to crochet!
